A group chartered train, the “Panda Kuroshio Limited Express” decorated with panda patterns, will run round-trip between Kii-Katsuura Station and a joint tour between the two companies will take place around Nanki-Katsuura and the World Heritage Site, Kumano Kodo. This year’s collaborative tour is the second one following the “Awara Onsen Festival,” and sales will begin in late November.

The product name is “20th Anniversary of World Heritage Registration: Kumano Kodo, Nachi Taisha, and Hot Springs of Your Choice: 2 Days of Katsuura Onsen or Kawayu Onsen.” This project, with the cooperation of West Japan Railway Company (JR West) and Wakayama Prefecture, will use the “Panda Kuroshio”, which is wrapped in a panda pattern that is very popular at Adventure World in Shirahama Town.
