[Sapporo Arts and Culture Foundation] [Sapporo Cultural Arts Theater hitaru] Creative Art Mix Vol.3 CLASSICAL JEWELS DX ~New World~ Performance Sapporo City Arts and Culture Foundation Press release: November 5, 2024 [Sapporo Cultural Arts Theater hitaru] Creative Art Mix Vol.3 CLASSICAL JEWELS DX~New World~ Performance The new frontier of performing arts from Sapporo is here. The hitaru creation series, which has brought together young and passionate local talents as a new type of performing arts performance, is the culmination of six years of work, and will be presented in a luxurious version set in a theater. The theme is “Love/AI”. 4.6 billion years have passed since the birth of the earth. Homo sapiens, which was born at the end of this period, underwent a truly explosive evolution that continues to the present day. They hunted giant beasts, cultivated vast tracts of farmland, developed complex mechanical civilizations, and created an information society that instantly connected all kinds of people. And now, it is said that humanity is steadily approaching the entrance to a completely new world beyond imagination – the Singularity (*). Will our evolution be directed toward confronting new threats, or…? Please enjoy the premium performing arts that can’t be seen anywhere else, created through the fusion of art. (*) [Singularity
(Technological Singularity)] This is a hypothesis that an autonomous artificial intelligence will repeatedly improve itself through self-feedback, resulting in intelligence superior to humans. It is also called the 2045 problem because Ray Kurzweil, a world authority on artificial intelligence research, predicts that we will reach the singularity in 2045.
