perspectives necessary for cultural projects and art projects in the city, will be held on Saturday, December 14th at the Minato City Gender Equality Center in collaboration with the Minato City Culture and Arts Network Conference. Held in I will. This time’s theme is “Involvement.” Engagement space is a space for people to get involved in an activity or place, and it is a margin for interested people to get involved in their own way. By having a diverse range of people to interact with, people of different generations and backgrounds mingle, and each person is able to find their own place in the space. So, how are “involvement” that have the potential to reweave the
relationships between people living in such regions and connect diverse areas of life being created and maintained? At Artpoint Meeting #15, We will invite practitioners of place creation from Mito and Kyoto, and while listening to their stories about their respective initiatives, we will think about the possibilities of “involvement”. Starting in 2004, a free “cafe” will be set up in the gallery where various programs linked to the exhibition will be held, and young people will also participate in its management. Currently, the target audience is
multi-generational, providing opportunities for young people to meet diverse people and values, including artists, visitors, and
volunteers, through permanent and special workshops, reading, sewing, and participation in citizen-led extracurricular activities. I am doing it.

We aim to create a place where people who live in different realities, such as sexuality, age, nationality, etc., can “live together” in society. We strive to provide a place to work through cafe management and gardening, provide information on issues happening in society, provide a place for networking between active groups, and provide a place for visitors to feel at home.

I have been working and playing around eating and local life. From 2024, in addition to being involved in the Bazaar Cafe as a volunteer, he is also active in the voluntary organization “Manasubito” with the aim of increasing the amount of extra “play” in society. Currently living in Noto and two locations, I am thinking about the possibility and dignity of recovery through “play” Ru. Became involved with Bazaar Cafe around 2004, and currently works as an office staff member. The Bazaar Cafe is a psychiatric clinic specializing in addictions and a Bazaar Cafe that mainly works with addicts, pursuing the value of “just being people” and not relying on the welfare system in the context of support. I am working because I believe that the possibilities are endless. In order to create some space for myself, I am fantasizing about escaping reality to India. Co-authored “Bazaar Cafe: Creating a place to live together even though we are separated” (Gakugei Publishing, 2024). Reference information About Tokyo Art Point Plan This is a project that works with NPOs* that play a role in local communities to create various “art points” to generate new values and creative activities for society. Reconsidering the obvious, discovering issues, and connecting different fields – Utilizing these characteristics of art, through experimental art projects, we aim to create a system that generates relationships and creative activities that help individuals live fulfilling lives. I’m working on it. From 2009 to the present (October 2024), we have implemented 45 projects with 56 organizations in collaboration with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, Arts Council Tokyo, and NPOs. In order for the project to take root in the local community, we are also training human resources to take on the project and developing the infrastructure for its activities. In addition, we are implementing the Tokyo Metropolitan Government/Ward/Municipality Collaboration Project, in which we co-sponsor cultural projects with local governments. *In addition to NPO corporations, also includes non-profit organizations such as general incorporated associations and social welfare corporations
