Special lecturer Doctor of Sports Psychology Tsutomu Fuse Doctor of Sports Psychology. Representative of the NPO Life Skills Development Association. Researcher at Keio University Sports Medicine Research Center. Using cutting-edge sports psychology, he works on building organizations and teams, improving individual performance, etc. He led the Waseda University Rugby Club, Keio University Baseball Club, and Toin Gakuen High School Rugby Club to become the best in Japan. Toin Gakuen High School Rugby Club graduates have produced leaders who are successful in university and society, with five students serving as university captains during the same period. Studied under Dr. Gould, a world authority on sports psychology, and earned a doctorate in sports psychology. While attending school, he conducted research and consulting for the U.S. Olympic team, NFL, and NHL. Training program ▶ General lectures (4 times in total from December to March) General lecture by lecturer Fuse on the theme of life skills training ▶ Group coaching (first session in December, then conducted until March) Group coaching led by Fuse instructor ▶ Individual coaching (conducted once per person in the second half of the program) Individual coaching by instructor Fuse ▶ Others All 4 lecture themes 1. Top athletes’ “how to use goals” “Double goal” “Vertical comparative thinking” “CS balance” Learn how to not only set goals, but also how to use them to the fullest. Instead of comparing yourself to others, always compare your best state to your current state, and understand how to maintain a balance between challenge (C) and skill (S) to reach your best. At the same time, I realize that it’s not just about competition. Recognize the source of your current energy and think about what you can do to further increase it. Students will also learn about cognitive evaluation to link tension in matches to performance. Application qualifications [1] A person who spares no effort to bring out the best in himself as a competitor [2] Those who aim to balance work and sports activities after employment, and who are motivated to work at a company or contribute to society after retiring from competition. [3] Those who wish to work for a company and are motivated to give back to the world of athletics and sports in the future by using the experience and knowledge gained through their career at a company [4] As of November 2024, 1st to 4th year university students, 1st and 2nd year graduate students [5] Athletes registered with this federation who are at the level of winning the Japan Interscholastic Athletics Championships or participating in the Japan Championships are preferred 3.Course fee [1] The cost of the training program will be borne by the Federation. *However, if the applicant wishes to take a program other than that provided by this federation, he or she may be required to pay out of pocket. [2] The Federation shall bear the transportation expenses for face-to-face meetings, and if lodging and meals are required, the Federation shall arrange and bear the expenses. 4. Number of applicants About 6 people 5.Selection schedule Recruitment starts on Tuesday, November 5th ↓ Application deadline: November 15th (Friday) ↓ Interview from mid-November to late November ↓ Late November to early December: Student selection/guidance ↓ Sunday, December 8th Program starts Interview period [Format] An online interview will be conducted by the selection committee. Late November Detailed notification of student selection, guidance, etc. Guidance held in early December Program starts on Sunday, December 8th *For the first screening, a document screening will be conducted based on the application form. *Details such as selection interview time will be communicated later. Selection will not be held outside of the dates listed above. 6.
