◆About investee companies mulberry is a company that aims to become a food and beverage version of SPA (manufacturing and retailing) that produces Kuroge Wagyu beef on Tanegashima and sells and supplies it mainly to restaurants that it operates. Mulberry’s Kuroge Wagyu beef is produced from multiparous cows that have given birth and are refattened using natural feed before being shipped. Normally, it takes about 20 months to fatten calves, but with our model of refattening calves, cows can be shipped in 7 to 8 months, and production efficiency is extremely high. This is a feature.
