■Background The Service and Support Committee of the Business Machinery and Information Systems Industries Association (Chairman: Masahiro Okitsu, hereinafter referred to as JBMIA) aims to improve the skills of customer engineers (CEs) who are engaged in service and support work for multifunction devices. We introduced the “CE Learning System” in August 2007, and to date more than 110,000 people have taken the course. ■This year’s CE learning system A “common skills course” is prepared for all job types, and there is a technical skills acquisition course to improve human skills, compliance skills, and ICT literacy.
