Pal System Federation Press release: November 6, 2024 Production areas and manufacturers gather at Pacifico Yokohama to interact directly with delivery users Saturday, November 16th [Kanagawa] Approximately 50 organizations sample and sell home delivery products Consumers’ cooperative Pal System Kanagawa (headquarters: Shin-Yokohama, Kohoku-ku, Yokohama, president: Junko Fujita) will hold a tasting and sale of products available through its home delivery service on Saturday, November 16th at Pacifico Yokohama (Nishi-ku, Yokohama). We will hold an event to Approximately 50 booths will be set up, and visitors will have the opportunity to meet and interact with manufacturers and local producers face-to-face. Special products told by makers from all over the country The event is a once-a-year event where Pal System, creators, and users can interact. Production areas and manufacturers from all over the country, from Hokkaido to Okinawa, gather here. Visitors can interact directly with the makers of the products and hear about the manufacturing
background, characteristics, and usage. You can actually see, eat, and try the products you were interested in in the catalog. At the booths of seafood manufacturers, events such as quizzes will be held, and Pal System will introduce a campaign to support Japan’s fisheries industry entitled “Let’s Eat Fish.” Click here for the “Let’s eat fish” special page The familiar character “Konsen-kun” who rides around town will also appear at the venue, adding to the excitement of the event. The event will be fun for both children and adults, including a bingo program that you can participate in as you visit the exhibition booths. Donation and recycling corner that leads to SDGs At the venue, we will also introduce the resource recovery system unique to home delivery services. We will set up an exchange corner where you can exchange 10 milk cartons for Pal System’s original tissue paper to encourage people to reduce their environmental impact through resource recycling. At the booths of local organizations that Pal System Kanagawa works with on a daily basis, you can help support those in need. We accept donations of 1 cup of rice to the food bank and donations of notebooks to high school students receiving scholarships. Through each event corner, we will convey how each individual’s small actions can help someone, such as preventing global warming and supporting those in need. Pal System Kanagawa will continue to value the connection between product creators and users, and aim for sustainable production and consumption.
