TLF is Japan’s largest exhibition held twice a year to showcase the potential and appeal of “leather as a material for leather products and related auxiliary materials” with the aim of expanding demand for leather and developing the industry. It boasts a history spanning more than half a century since it was first held in 1970. This time we have a special guest, Kukki, who is the biggest leather lover in the entertainer world! Therefore, we do not take the lives of animals just to make leather products. For example, in the case of cows, in Japan alone, about 1 million cows are turned into leather products per year (2021), but on the other hand, a lot of them are also discarded. When disposed of, it is buried or burned as industrial waste, so disposing of raw hides has a higher environmental impact than producing leather products.
