NIPPON IT Charity Ekiden This is a charity relay race designed to support the reintegration of socially disadvantaged and underemployed people. Proceeds from the relay race are used to donate to NPOs that provide employment support and to support recovery efforts in disaster-stricken areas. The theme of the “NIPPON IT Charity Ekiden” is to support young people who are trying to overcome the current times by having participants help each other towards the same goal through the sport of Ekiden.
