“Decarbonization Management Practice” seminar for small and
medium-sized businesses on Thursday, December 5, 2024. . In this seminar, we will explain decarbonization diagnosis using the Ministry of the Environment’s SHIFT project and ESJ’s SBT (Science Based Targets) application support for small and medium-sized enterprises, using specific examples. We provide detailed information on effective approaches to implementing decarbonized management and strategic initiatives that lead to increased corporate value. ■Background of the seminar As climate change countermeasures become an urgent issue, small and medium-sized enterprises are also required to shift to decarbonized management. However, many companies feel that they have problems with specific approaches and effective promotion methods due to lack of resources. Therefore, ESJ has been comprehensively supporting the decarbonization of small and medium-sized enterprises with the mission of “making carbon neutrality the norm.” In the previous introductory seminar, we explained the basic knowledge of decarbonization diagnosis and SBT.
