The Nagoya Sword Museum “Nagoya Sword World” (hereinafter referred to as the museum) will hold a special exhibition in the special exhibition room on the 4th floor of the north building from Saturday, January 11, 2025 (Reiwa 7) to Sunday, March 16, 2025. “Swords related to Sengoku warlords ~Toyotomi Hideyoshi and Tokugawa Ieyasu~” will be held. Toyotomi Hideyoshi and Tokugawa Ieyasu are especially famous among the Sengoku warlords. The special exhibition will feature swords from the museum’s collection that are associated with Hideyoshi and Ieyasu. The main exhibits include the important cultural property “Tachi, inscribed by Ieyasu Tokugawa, “Kagemitsu Osafune, Bishu, dated October 1999,” and the important cultural property, “Danto, inscribed, Nagayoshi, Osafune, Bishu, dated May 1970,” handed down by Toyotomi Hideyoshi. day,” etc. Please enjoy the valuable sword exhibition along with the history of swords and episodes of military commanders.
