Hakobune Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, President and CEO: Masanori Takahashi, hereinafter referred to as “Hakobune”), which provides commuting EV subscription services for companies and employees, will conduct business operations from Wednesday, November 20, 2024 to November 22, 2024. We will be exhibiting at the 4th Decarbonization Management EXPO (Kansai Exhibition) to be held on (Friday). Hakobune provides a variety of services to convert the 25 million commuter vehicles in Japan into EVs (electric vehicles). Specifically, we provide EV vehicle rentals and workplace charging equipment installation support at a reasonable monthly rate that also includes EV-related maintenance costs. Commuting vehicles fall under the Scope 3 category for estimating greenhouse gas emissions. By converting gasoline-powered cars to EVs, companies can reduce Scope 3 emissions. At this event booth, in order to give you a sense of the potential of EVs as envisioned by Hakobune, we will be displaying a diorama that will give you a sense of a world in which EVs play an active role as the cornerstone of a city, and we will also be demonstrating a power supply demonstration using a Nissan Leaf.
