“Blockchain” is a technology that makes it extremely difficult to tamper with data and allows systems to be operated at low cost while maintaining high security, and is expected to be used in a variety of fields. In the prefecture, industry, academia and government are collaborating around the “Fukuoka Prefecture Future IT Initiative” to promote the IT industry, and as part of this, we are promoting blockchain technology and establishing it as a hub. In order to increase awareness of blockchain technology and promote its
introduction, we are holding a talk session with key personnel from pioneering companies promoting web3 businesses using blockchain technology in the world and in Japan, as well as key personnel from companies active in Fukuoka Prefecture.
