Shingakusha Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Yamashina-ku, Kyoto City, Representative: Nobuo Yamamoto) will start providing the “Online Study Room “Tomogaku” for elementary school students from April 2024, and will hold the second Zoom event “Tomogaku.” Festival” was held on October 30th (Wednesday). Following the very popular first event, more than 120 participants, both those who used Tomogaku and those who did not, gathered to experience learning and recreation while connecting with friends from all over the country online. A participant survey conducted after the event showed a satisfaction rate of 98.3% (as of November 7th). Due to continued popularity, we have decided to hold the third event on Friday, November 22nd from 7:00 pm, and will begin accepting applications for participation from today. “Tomogaku” is a service that allows you to choose a fixed study start time in the morning, evening, or evening, and share time and space with friends from all over the country who are in the same time zone, making it a habit to study at home every day. At this Tomogaku Festival, not only children who use Tomogaku, but also children who have not used it, participated and experienced the atmosphere of an online study room. The purpose of this event is not only to recreate the “Tomogaku” study room on Zoom, but also to increase children’s motivation for studying by having them interact with their peers from all over the country through recreation. It is held on. On the day of the event, a total of over 120 children from 1st to 6th grade of elementary school participated, exceeding the number of participants from the first time. After the rules were explained, there was a question time to confirm the grade levels and self-study content of the participants, and after building a sense of camaraderie, the 25-minute self-study period began! During the recreation time after the study, the students tried out “real-time spot the difference” with the struggling cheer squad. If the screen disappears after learning the costumes and background decorations for the cheering squad, multiple mistakes will appear before and after the screen changes! The expressions on the children’s faces as they rely on their memory to find the mistakes are very serious. There was a lot of excitement, and it was time to end the event.
