You can study in the “Core Human Resource Development Course,” which aims to become an independent farmer, or the “Production Technology Skills Improvement Course,” which aims to acquire production techniques. The training base, Citrus Terrace Tokushima, is equipped with a field where you can learn about smart agriculture and a fruit laboratory, where you can acquire consistent knowledge and techniques from citrus production to processing and distribution. The “Tokushima Citrus Academy” was launched in 2019 with the aim of training and securing the people who will support the future of the prefecture’s citrus production areas, and as of last year, it has produced 191 graduates. We have started recruiting students for the 7th class of 2020, and in order to deepen their interest in the academy, we will be holding the following experiential tours, and we are looking for participants. 1. “Reiwa 7th Tokushima Citrus Academy” 7th batch recruitment A) Course and training period ・Core human resource development course: 200 days (1 year in principle) ・Production technology improvement course: Approximately a few days for each elective subject B) Tuition fee ・Core human resource development course 16,820 yen ・Production technology improvement course I Grafting and pruning 4,100 yen II Fruit cultivation management 8,200 yen C) Number of applicants Approximately 30 people in total for both courses D) Recruitment period From September 17, 2020 to January 31, 2020 (will end as soon as capacity is reached) 2.
