The Japan Department Stores Association, a general incorporated association, aims to realize a sustainable society, tackles various social issues, and engages in activities that contribute to solving social issues through industry activities. This time, the association supports Marriage For All Japan’s “Iifufu Day” activity, aiming for “a society in which no one is left behind, a society in which all people are equal and fair.” November 22nd is Iifufu Day – Good in all kinds of ways! We are working on “Let’s give a gift.” In this initiative, each department store company and store that is a member of the association will implement visual development using a common logo and copy, as well as attend seminars for member stores on the theme of “LGBTQ and sexual diversity,” We are holding an “LGBTQ study session” (on-demand web seminar) for staff.
