Similar to when the feed-in tariff system began in 2012, local real estate companies and others will bundle land use rights and grid connection and sell project rights to grid-side storage battery developers. We have submitted an application to consider grid connection based on our business model. As of the end of June 2024, applications for connection consideration have been submitted for 19.78 GW within the Tohoku Electric Power area, 9.39 GW within the Tokyo Electric Power area, 8.68 GW within the Kyushu Electric Power area, and approximately 60 GW across Japan, with the number of connection contract applications reaching 4.5 GW. It has been reached. At present, the number is expected to increase further. Overseas developers of grid-side storage batteries are also arriving one after another. In March of last year, we supported the acquisition of a 50MW grid-side storage battery project in Hokkaido, so we will explain the business model and precautions for grid-side storage battery business. In addition, we supported multiple companies in the first long-term decarbonization auction for grid-side storage batteries of 10MW or more, won successful bids, and are proceeding with EPC contracts and finance contracts. Off-take models of grid storage batteries are also emerging based on overseas examples. The number of grid-side storage batteries offered for the second long-term decarbonized power supply auction has been expanded to 1.5GW with a minimum capacity of 30MW. Due to the decline in FIT/FIP prices, the development of renewable energy power plants is shifting to corporate PPAs. In fact, power generation sides have created their own PPAs and started sales, and large purchasers, mainly GAFA, on the demand side are procuring renewable energy non-fossil value using their own PPA templates, and (additionality). PPAs are long-term contracts, so careful contract negotiations are required. 1.
