Distribution location introduction ■Oji Shrine Our company was solicited from Kumano in 1322. From this, the name of the prince’s place was born. It was highly revered by successive feudal lords and shoguns, and became a quasi-chokusai shrine in the Meiji period. The divine virtues are good luck, warding off evil spirits, and great wishes for child rearing. At the annual festival in August, the Oji Shrine dengaku dance, which is designated as an intangible cultural property of Kita Ward, is dedicated. ■Maeno Kumano Shrine In the “Omizucho” written in 1662, it is stated that the deities enshrined are Tenjin, seventh generation, and Earth God, fifth generation. The date of its establishment is unknown, but it is said to have been commissioned by Kumano Nachi Taisha Shrine in Kii Province around the end of the Middle Ages, and has been revered as the guardian deity of the former Maeno Village. ■Aoyama Kumano Shrine Its origin dates back to the Imperial Palace, which was housed within the residence of Lord Tokugawa Yorinobu (currently the Akasaka Imperial Palace), and was later built and enshrined in a temporary shrine in Aoyamajiji-cho at the request of the townspeople in the 5th year of Genwa. It was later moved to its current location in the first year of Shoho, and is revered as the guardian deity of Aoyama and as the god of
