Kobe Portopia Hotel Co., Ltd. (Chuo-ku, Kobe City, General Manager Tsuyoshi Ito) will participate in the “13th KOBE Pork Bun Summit 2024” for two days from November 16th (Saturday) to November 17th (Sunday), 2024. We will be selling original pork buns from the Chinese restaurant Shukeien. The KOBE Butaman Summit has been held since 2011, with November 11th designated as “Butaman Day” because the number 11 looks like the shape of a pig’s nose. To coincide with Pork Bun Day, we will be selling “Summit Limited Original Pork Bun” and holding the “KOBE Pork Bun Contest,” with the hope of revitalizing the city of Kobe. Our company has been participating since 2014, and this will be our 10th store opening. Every year, we have designed and
participated in the event’s original pork buns, and in the past we have sold over 1,500 of them in two days. This year’s Portopia Hotel original pork bun is “[Spicy] Mapo tofu pork bun” is.
