Unlike our usual activities, this was a large-scale project that involved not only school students, but also companies, Nakagawa City, and local businesses, and it started as a first time for all of us to produce remade products to sell. I can only imagine the quality of the remade products that were created thanks to not only the SPINNS club, but also many students and teachers, Mercari Takahashi who supported the project, and Nakagawa City Hall staff, as well as the total amount of clothing collected locally. With all of this, we were able to safely hold the
presentation. I believe that the adults present at the event, including myself, received a lot of energy from seeing the students reporting on their activities at the presentation. This project activity will give the students confidence, and I look forward to seeing new ideas and actions emerge as they continue to operate the project. And SPINNS wants to be a brand that continues to support such young people. Fukuoka Women’s Commercial High School
