2024/11/24 English speech contest for elementary school students “Voices of Tomorrow” held at Foreign Correspondents Club of Japan (FCCJ) Kinder Kids Co., Ltd. , Global Step Academy Co., Ltd. , and The International School Times The “Voices of Tomorrow Speech Contest” Kanto competition, co-sponsored by , will be held on November 24, 2024 (Sunday) at the Foreign Correspondents’ Club of Japan (FCCJ), a stage that is attracting attention around the world. This is the first time that not only KinderKids graduates but also international school students will participate in this competition. It is attracting attention as the best place to test the expressive and English skills of children who are looking towards the future and are full of potential. A special stage where children talk about the future The “Voices of Tomorrow Speech Contest” is a special event where elementary school students present their hopes and dreams in English. Children take a step toward the future on the symbolic international stage of the Foreign Correspondents’ Association of Japan, where journalists from both Japan and abroad gather. This competition opens the door to the next generation as they hone their English skills and talk about their dreams. Evaluation by special review committee This year’s judging committee will be chaired by Dave McCombs, a director of the Foreign Correspondents Club of Japan (FCCJ). In addition, experts in the fields of education and entertainment will also participate as judges to rigorously evaluate the children’s speeches. -Global Division- In the global category, returnees (those who have lived overseas for more than a year and have returned to Japan within two years), children whose native language is English, and students from international schools will give speeches from a global
perspective on the theme of “My Dream.” I’ll show it off. Please pay attention to the passionate moment when the message to the world resonates. Event date and time : November 24, 2024 (Sunday)
12:00-17:00 (scheduled) Venue : Foreign Correspondents Association of Japan (Marunouchi, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) Target : 1st to 6th grade of elementary school Department : General division (1st to 2nd grade, 3rd to 6th grade) Original category (1st to 2nd grade, 3rd to 6th grade) Global Division (1st to 6th grade) ・ Champion : 1 person from all participants ・ Winner : 1 person from each department Take on the speech contest and open up your future! This speech contest is not just a place for presentations. This is your chance to talk about your dreams and goals in English and convey your thoughts to the judges and audience. By giving a speech in English, you will be able to take a step towards the world and grow. We look forward to next year’s challenge!
