On Thursday, December 5th, we are planning an event where children from local nursery schools will visit the museum and decorate cards. Christmas decorations will be available for a limited time from November 2nd (Saturday) to December 25th (Wednesday). Please stop by and enjoy the Christmas tree decorated with your wishes. ■Akita cedar Christmas tree made by everyone ~Wish Upon a Star~/Summary With the theme of “Wish Upon a Star,” write your wish on a star-shaped card made from Akita cedar scraps and display it on a 2.7m tall symbolic tree! Point 2: Utilizing discarded Akita cedar building materials All of the wood used in the building is made from discarded Akita cedar scraps, which are used as building materials for ceiling materials and exterior wall base materials. A total of 19 trees, including a 2.7m tall Akita cedar Christmas tree, a 90cm diameter wreath, and 300 ornaments made from thinly shaved Akita cedar into ribbons, are all made by breathing new life into waste materials, giving Christmas a new lease of life. The classic decoration has been reproduced with Akita cedar.
