At the park “INN THE PARK Numazu” where you can stay, for two days from November 14th (Thursday) to November 15th (Friday), 2024, we will offer “Ancient Time Slip Exploration & Long-established Stores” as an experiential tour for parents and children to experience the history and culture that Numazu City is proud of. We will be holding a 100-year story of tradition. This tour will deepen visitors’ understanding of Numazu’s rich culture and nature through the “Ancient Experience Tour” where you can learn about ancient life and the “Hundred Years Story” where you can experience traditional techniques from long-established companies in Numazu City. This is what you will receive. Program contents On the first day, the “Ancient Experience Tour” takes place at “INN THE PARK Numazu” at the foot of Mt. Ashitaka, where ancient people lived.You can experience ancient times such as butchering a deer, starting a fire, and making tableware using wood. We will carry out activities that recreate life in the Stone Age. By experiencing the way ancient people lived in harmony with nature, participants will learn how it relates to modern life. On the second day’s “Hundred Years Story,” participants will experience traditional techniques such as making koji and making dried fish in cooperation with long-established companies around Numazu City (Yamaka Suisan and Nakamuraya Koji Store). The purpose is to foster an awareness of connecting local history and culture to the future by experiencing first-hand the craftsmanship and commitment that has spanned over 100 years. Image
