The performers have a variety of backgrounds, from artists who are active on the front lines to entrepreneurs who are working hard at business as frontrunners in their industries. This is an opportunity for performers to update themselves by not only making full use of their skills, but also sharing their individual stories with the audience through expressions. For the audience, it is an opportunity to reexamine themselves through the performers. Furthermore, as society continues to develop technology, it creates an opportunity to cause a stir in a society that is becoming increasingly indifferent to people and nature. This is an art conference where we look at the source of our lives and get closer to our own convictions. Stage concept “Story” Throughout the time we have lived, we have formed who we are today through the accumulation of strong emotions such as excitement and suffering. A vision unique to you is born from the messages you have felt in the past, and by looking at your own emotions that lie dormant there, you can create a strong driving force to realize your vision. Facing and expressing your own story can remind you of your belief in your vision and create the driving force to push towards its realization. That’s why I chose the concept of “story” this time. KEIKOBA’s idea of the value of the stage The stage is a space where those standing on stage can use their whole body and mind to directly convey themselves to the people in front of them. On stage, unlike digital media such as video, it cannot be modified or processed, so when you are on stage, your true self is conveyed as is, and you cannot lie. Furthermore, as Zeami wrote in his book “Hanagami,” the stage has the characteristic of acting as a mirror of one’s own heart, allowing the audience to see themselves. Therefore, because the stage is a space where both the performers and the audience can confront their true selves, we believe that it has the power to evoke stronger messages for the future. The future that KEIKOBA aims for We believe that everyone is an artist who can freely express their life. We will create a future in which the number of artists who express themselves as they are will be increased, and the hearts will be enriched, leading to a return of abundance to society as a whole. I don’t know if the answer is correct, but I choose the one that I believe is correct. Change the trajectory of your daily thoughts and actions, which have been chosen based on empirical rules, in accordance with your own pure sensibilities. In a society where more and more design work is done to meet orders, it is difficult to release what you think is the correct answer to the world, and I think there are few opportunities to do so. However, it is precisely because we are now in need of enrichment not just for individuals but for society as a whole, that by confronting and expressing the stories that only we have, we can reaffirm the message that only we can send to enrich others. I am convinced that through expression, my past and someone else’s future will be connected. Through our stage
performances, we hope to allow as many people as possible to experience these experiences, which will lead to the enrichment of society. Click here to apply for KEIKOBA ▶︎ Application page

Since 2007, he has been doing sales and human resources consulting as a freelancer. Joined Sansan Co., Ltd. in 2015 and oversaw new graduate/mid-career recruitment. He also serves as the business manager of “Eight Career Design.” After gaining experience in organizational and human resources at Kakehashi Co., Ltd., he was in charge of both business and human resources at Rifcam Co., Ltd. as an executive officer and manager of the president’s office. In April 2022, he decided to concentrate on managing his business and assumed his current position. ~STORY~ It was really important that I joined a company called Sansan at the age of 30 and was in charge of human resources. The reasons for this were: “I was able to find a career in human resources that I felt was worth living for the rest of my life,” and “I was able to experience that my own talent could lead to overwhelming results.” It was a turning point where I realized the importance of having talent and being confident in myself, to the extent that I could say that my life is divided into Phase 1 up to the age of 30 and Phase 2 after the age of 30. did. After coming out to his best friend as a child, he began researching on the theme of “toilets x minorities,” and at the age of 16, he went to the United States to study toilets for a year as a representative from Japan. After returning home in an emergency due to the spread of the coronavirus, he wanted to give something back to Japan, so he developed “Toilet Paper to Learn SDGs Through Manga” using Kurafan funds, and donated it to elementary and junior high schools and public facilities across the country. In recognition of the above activities, in 2021 they were selected for the “Japan Toilet Award” and “10 Teens Who Will Change the World.” After that, he started a project to supervise inclusive toilets, and wanted to look at the impact of improving the toilet environment from a more economical perspective, so he entered the University of Tokyo in 2020 based on his toilet research. ~STORY~ His current activities revolve around coming out to him from his best friend when he was young. A gal who spends her days laughing, eating, and walking around Harajuku with a tapioca in her hand has devoted her life to enjoying the gal life with her best friend. Joanna Lam

She has loved singing since childhood, and has deepened her love for music by learning to play the piano and guitar and aiming to become a singer. Since last year, I’ve been trying out not only music but also dancing, something I never thought I could do. Learn various pair and solo dances including New Hustle, waist course, swinging and wacking. From my past experiences, I have become convinced that music is the center of my life, and now I am performing as an artist who expresses both singing and dancing around the world, connecting people through dance and singing. We are working to build a community and spread that love. ~STORY~ I’ve loved music ever since I can remember. When I was a child, I was too embarrassed to sing in front of people, but I wanted to try my hand at it, so I started participating in contests. Last year, I had the courage to move to Japan, and with the encouragement of a friend, I started dancing, and now I’m learning new dances, experiencing different cultures, and deepening my love for music. Encouraged by his old friend Takaki Namekawa (Etoe), he started his career due to a
misunderstanding. His ally Yuuki Shinjo will perform on stage for the first time in 22 years after being involved in an accident. In addition, Azusa and Chiaki Ikuko, who had been left alone due to frequent rear-end accidents in various places, decided to perform together for the first time. The first performance, “Smile,” is a wonderland of foreshadowing that has been going on for 20 years and inevitable encounters. Sometimes it’s a movement! At Kemen, we will continue to do things beyond imagination with our loving friends! ~STORY~ I started doing theater this year and am studying under the director Hideyuki Nishimori (without permission). I really learned a lot and it has positively influenced my range as an entrepreneur and other activities. Through the practical experience of acting, students are learning such things as “being natural,” “accepting and understanding the other person’s lines,” “don’t say your lines based on the atmosphere,” “having a big feeling in your heart (want),” “showing your conflicts and attracting them,” etc. There is no limit to what I can say. I was so excited that I decided to take on the challenge of directing and writing the script. What I love most is trying to push myself into new areas while connecting with people. I can only thank everyone at KEIKOBA for giving me this opportunity. Check it out today, literally! (Kimura Tadaaki) Kemen member Image
