This is a performance commemorating the company’s 20th anniversary, which is a scaled-up version of the same work that premiered in 2023. Now, as they celebrate their 20th anniversary, they aim to make further progress at the Saitama Arts Theater, the largest theater in the company’s history. [Synopsis] Takahiko Mori is a literary scholar who studies Taisho era poet Ushio Tachibana. One day, he wanders into “limbo” and discovers one truth. Ushio Tachibana, who was previously thought to be a man, was actually a woman. Ushio Saito was a woman who wrote poetry during the Taisho era. Ushio Tachibana is a man who lived freely in the world of creation. The tide of two people living in two worlds: reality and creation. The literary magazine Seiran and the women’s liberation movement were founded in an era when women’s voices were not heard. This 20th anniversary performance is a scaled-up version of the work, which premiered in 2023 and is set in the Taisho era, a swirling world of light and shadow.
