Photography: GEKKO Tunnels held “Tunnels THE LIVE 2024 Budokan” at Nippon Budokan in Tokyo for two days on November 8th and 9th. Tunnels has produced many hit songs not only in the comedy field such as variety shows, but also in the music scene. They won the Japan Music Awards for “Jyoine” and recorded a super hit of 1.409 million copies with “Rattarahebi ga Kururu”. They toured every year from 1985 to 1995, traveling all over the country. Takaaki Ishibashi and Noritake Kinashi of the Tunnels have returned to the stage at Nippon Budokan for the first time in about 29 years since their tour “Omae Hyakuma Washa Kujukumade ~ 10th Anniversary Music Activities Concert~”. Expectations were high from the moment the event was announced, and tickets sold out immediately, attracting 18,000 people over two days. On the second day at Budokan, after the opening video was played, Ishibashi and Kinashi appeared on stage to loud applause. Suddenly, they performed “Jyoine” and the excitement in the venue suddenly increased, but an unexpected turn of events caused an uproar in the venue. The One Fu fans (fans) at the venue went wild with the surprise performance from the two. Ishibashi greeted, “I’m home.
