(Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, President and CEO: Chika Sakairi) will jointly work with NTT East Niigata Branch, Kinki Nippon Tourist, and Sado City from July 2, 2024 (Tuesday) to July 4, 2024 ( “AWEcation” was held in Sado City, Niigata Prefecture for 2 nights and 3 days until Thursday (Thursday), and many participants were able to gain new experiences in the overwhelming nature. What is AWEcation? AWEcation is a word coined from AWE experience workation, which refers to the feelings of emotion, awe, and surprise that arise when faced with overwhelming objects such as nature or art. This is a resort work-style program aimed at developing the next generation of leadership. Participants aim to naturally acquire an altruistic business sense through moving experiences and interactions in Sado’s overwhelming natural environment. Program contents “I mature in a nature-positive world.” Participants will have the opportunity to increase their desire to contribute to society and raise their awareness of social issues through moving experiences in nature, Zen programs, and interactions with local people. Classroom lectures like those in general training are kept to a minimum, and the program is operated as a place where people and people can change naturally.
