The Japan Esports Union (Chairman: Hideki Hayakawa, hereinafter referred to as JeSU) is pleased to announce the interim results of the fan voting for the Japan Esports Awards 2024, which will be held on January 15, 2025. Fan voting has been accepted since September 1st, and the results will be compiled over approximately two months. “Japan Esports Awards 2024”: https://esportsawards.jp/ The Japan Esports Awards is an annual festival that celebrates achievements and contributions in the esports world in Japan. We will focus on a wide range of athletes and teams, as well as companies, organizations, and individuals who support the esports world, and will honor outstanding achievements in a wide variety of categories, such as regional revitalization and social contribution. In the fan voting that started on September 1st, approximately 34,000 votes were collected from esports fans across the country. If you are an e-sports fan, the super popular e-sports players and game streamers that everyone knows are at the top of the list. Fan voting to determine the finalists in each category will be held on the official LINE until November 15th. Regarding the judging, the selection will be based on the voting results of the fans and a strict screening by a judging committee made up of people involved in the esports industry.
