Azumino Mineral Water Co., Ltd. [Background of the establishment of the new factory] Azumino Mineral Water produces 2 liters of exclusive mineral water. We have been operating our first factory since 2014, but due to increasing consumer demand for supply, we began planning the construction of our second factory about five years ago, and we recently celebrated the completion of the construction. The first factory can produce 150 bottles of mineral water per minute, but the second factory that will be expanded this time will be able to produce 250-300 bottles of mineral water per minute, which is approximately 1.6-2 times more, resulting in quality that is increasing day by day. We will continue to meet the strict demands of the Japanese market. [I want to change the meaning of working in a factory from Azumino] The first factory was established at the beginning of the business, and I don’t think it was very fashionable or cool. Also, even today, when asked about the image of working in a factory, the image may be rather old-fashioned and gloomy. However, we created the second factory with the idea that we want people to feel that working in a factory is cool and a job they can take pride in. At the second factory, we painted a huge mural in the manufacturing area of ​​the factory, measuring up to 8 meters in height and approximately 50 meters in width on three sides. The general idea that offices and workplaces in Japan are “places where work can be done efficiently” is common. However, in the factory where I work every day, I painted a mural because I wanted people to never forget their “origins” even if something happened. We express our values ​​of “distributing Azumino’s rich water resources to the world as high-quality products,” “respect and gratitude towards nature,” and “the appeal of Azumino’s water and a sense of responsibility in using resources.” We hope to make the space even a little more comfortable for our employees. In addition, Azumino Mineral Water is operating in three shifts in order to prioritize protecting everyone’s daily life. Some employees work night shifts, and up until now, there were not enough break spaces available. For this reason, we have set up rest areas so that our employees can take a break whenever they want. [We want to deliver safe and secure water to everyone] The second factory will have a mechanical configuration and factory structure that takes into account the ease of work and health of employees. The machine structure is simpler than the existing factory, and the automation has been increased, so the production capacity will approximately double, but the number of people on the production line will remain the same. You can reduce the time you spend operating machines, making your work easier and freeing up your time for quality checks. In the future, we will strive to utilize the functions of our first and second factories to deliver safe and secure mineral water to everyone.
