Saturday, November 23, 2024 11:30-19:00 Izumo Hinomisaki Lighthouse Area (Izumo City Taisha-cho Hinomisaki) The Hinomisaki-Sagiura Lighthouse Utilization Project Consortium will hold “Lighthouse FES Hinomisaki 2024” on Saturday, November 23, 2024, with the theme “Let’s look up!” with the aim of restoring Hinomisaki. On the day of the festival, there will be performances by artists, local gourmet food, Izumo Hinomisaki Lighthouse illumination, disaster recovery donations, and a raffle with gorgeous prizes. As part of the Nippon Foundation’s “Ocean and Japan Project,” this event will dig up local ocean memories centered on lighthouses, connect regions to regions, different fields to different industries, Japan and the world, and create new ocean experiences.
