G60 science and technology innovation cloud corridor by Chen Haiwen team On November 9, 2024, the Key Elements Bridging Conference on High-Quality Development in the G60 Science and Technology (S&T) Innovation Valley in the Yangtze River Delta was held at the 7th China International Import Expo at the National Exhibition and Convention Center It was done. Nine cities in the G60 Science, Technology and Innovation Valley cooperated in the conference with the strategic goal of “based in the Yangtze River Delta, spreading across the country and looking to the world”. Promoting comprehensive reforms, the two countries are working together to promote quality integration of the G60 Valley. This cooperation will promote regional synergies and deep integration of technological and industrial innovation, accelerating the development of an internationally influential innovation valley and a major innovation center in China. At the meeting, “Several measures to promote the free flow and efficient allocation of resources in the G60 science, technology and innovation valley of the Yangtze River Delta” was announced, marking a new step in
institutional innovation. Several new cooperation platforms were also launched, including the Yangtze River Delta G60 Science, Technology and Innovation Valley ESG Development Federation. International platforms were also established, such as the G60 Cooperation Base of the BRICS Technology Transfer Center. In addition, an official visiting base for the China-Arab G60 Cooperation and Development Promotion Center was established, and several major cooperation projects were signed. Songjiang District, Shanghai is the birthplace of the G60 Science and Technology Innovation Valley. Since its launch on May 24, 2016, the G60 Valley has progressed through three important stages: version 1.0 “Songjiang Departure”, version 2.0
“Jaxing-Hangzhou Connection”, and version 3.0 “9 Cities Joint Construction”. This project is included in landmark plans such as the “Outline of the Yangtze River Delta Regional Integrated Development Plan” and the “14th Five-Year Plan.” In an important move, six national agencies, including the Ministry of Science and Technology, the National Development and Reform Commission, and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, jointly announced the “G60 Science, Technology and Innovation Valley Construction Plan.” This initiative opens new avenues for collaborative regional development and establishes the G60 Valley as an important model of quality integration in the Yangtze River Delta.
