10th “Unseeable Challenge Climbing” Poster Based on the concept of “Even invisible walls can be overcome,” Monkey Magic (Tokyo) is a non-profit organization that aims to realize a more mature and universal society that recognizes diversity through activities to popularize climbing for people with disabilities. Musashino City, Representative Director: Koichiro Kobayashi (hereinafter referred to as “NPO Monkey Magic”) will hold the 10th “Unseeable Challenge Climb” on Saturday, November 16th, in which everyone will participate blindfolded. What determines the outcome is not only climbing technique, but also luck as well as guiding ability The challenge consists of two people: a climber wearing an eye mask who climbs the wall, and a site guide who is responsible for communicating the direction, position, and shape of holds on behalf of the climber. The teams that will advance to the finals will be divided into three classes: “Boss Monkey,” “Big Monkey,” and “Small Monkey” based on the qualifying results, and the top three teams in each class will advance to the final. In order to advance to the finals, you need luck as well as skill, and this is a climbing competition where all participants, from elementary school students to adults, have a chance to advance to the finals.
