This council aims to promote the “Hitachi no Kuni Ise Shrimp” brand and revitalize the local economy and tourism with the cooperation of fishermen, restaurants, and processors in Ibaraki Prefecture. In 2023, a new brand called “Hitachi no Kuni Ise Shrimp” will be born, with particular emphasis on its size and quality. This council works to convey the appeal of brands to consumers through PR events and fairs. At the event, tastings such as “Hitachi no Kuni Ise Shrimp Tempura Soba” made using techniques from the Edo period were also offered, and an attempt was made to recreate the traditional food culture of the region.
