About the Hometown Company Award (Minister of Internal Affairs and Communications Award) The purpose of this award is to honor private businesses that carry out business activities that contribute to regional revitalization and widely disseminate their activities throughout the country, thereby contributing to regional revitalization, revitalizing the local economy, and promoting the creation of attractive hometowns. This award has been given by the Furusato Foundation since 2002. In our group, Tsugaru Biomass Energy Co., Ltd. received the same award in 2019 This is the second company in the group to receive this honor. The award ceremony will be held in Hanamaki City in November.
