Email: monodzukuri-event@media.nikkan.co.jp [What is the Manufacturing Japan Conference] It is a community of manufacturing-related stakeholders of approximately 2,000 companies (regular members and supporting members) ranging from large companies to small and medium-sized companies, and the Nikkan Kogyo Shimbun serves as the secretariat. The conference is run by a co-chair system, and eight co-chairs are currently leading the activities, including Hitachi Chairman Toshiaki Higashihara and Toyota Motor Corporation Executive Fellow Mitsuru Kawai (Oyaji). We hold over 40 symposiums and seminars a year, real events such as the “Manufacturing Experience Stadium” where parents and children can learn together, and awards such as the Super Manufacturing Parts Award. Going forward, we will continue to focus on creating new manufacturing companies and services in line with the evolution of technology and changes in the social environment, and on activities to develop the human resources that support them.
