Shintomicho is an interesting town where it is easy to raise children and live, and there are many people taking on various challenges. We also wanted to try something new in this town. Before I started farming, I worked at an agricultural equipment manufacturer, so I had always been interested in agriculture and liked working with machines, so I thought it would be great to do something that leveraged my strengths, and I started working in a neighboring town. We met with a farmer who is working on cultivating wood ear mushrooms. When I ate jellyfish for the first time, I was so impressed that I thought, “This is it!” and decided to try my hand at growing jellyfish. Chestnut mushrooms are highly nutritious and are said to have the ability to regulate the immune system and are good for hay fever and atopic dermatitis. We want as many people as possible, regardless of age or gender, to safely eat wood ear mushrooms, which are produced in small quantities in Japan, so we are working on cultivating pure domestically produced mushroom beds without using any pesticides.

Nutritious foods rich in calcium, vitamin D, iron, dietary fiber, and potassium. In addition to strengthening bones and teeth, it also has the effect of regulating the intestinal environment by preventing anemia and relieving constipation. Vitamin D, which is said to promote calcium absorption, strengthen bones, and regulate immune function, is also said to be effective against hay fever and atopic dermatitis. Additionally, dietary fiber has the ability to lower cholesterol and improve bowel movements, and is said to be effective in preventing lifestyle-related diseases.

In particular, the texture when you put live jellyfish in your mouth is a special taste that can only be experienced with domestically produced jellyfish. We started cultivating it with the hope that more people would know about the appeal and deliciousness of this highly nutritious food. We are working on cultivating wood ear mushrooms with the hope that they will become a food item that can be enjoyed by both children and adults on the dining table at home. Each piece of wood ear mushroom is carefully grown by hand using a unique method in an environment that is ideal for wood ear ear mushrooms, resulting in fresh, fresh wood ear mushrooms. Currently, we are only selling directly (550 yen for 100g), but we plan to expand into wholesale and delivery. We often get asked, “How do you cook?” so we would like to take on the challenge of producing processed products that people can easily eat. We believe that our mission is to produce ingredients that better meet the needs of our customers, with a focus on high quality and beauty. We are also always looking for shops and restaurants that can handle white jellyfish grown with love, so please feel free to contact us. Please enjoy the wood ear mushrooms that we deliver to you with confidence.
