By focusing on a part of the landscape, this series allows you to discover the beauty hidden in everyday life that is often overlooked.This series is the starting point for Miwaza, who has a 20-year career as a photographer, in his challenge as an artist.

Photographer/videographer/entrepreneur/graphic designer. Started his career in 2004 at the age of 14. In addition to shooting commercials in Japan and overseas and producing marketing content, he spends three to four months of the year overseas, working on photo shoots, workshops, and projects. Author’s comment When I first visited Amami Oshima, I felt as if I had been invited into a masterpiece of nature, and my heart trembled. We have prepared this exhibition with the sole intention of sharing with everyone the diverse expressions and stories of Amami that are created by natural light as the seasons and weather change. Amami Oshima is a dream come true for the adventurous photographer/artist. Event overview Venue: Life & work space Living AMAMI Event period: November 23, 2024 (Saturday) to December 8, 2024 (Sunday) Business hours: 9:00-20:00 *Open every day during the period (however, it may be reserved for events) *Admission to view the works is free *If you are seated, you will be charged a fee for using the regular coworking space (weekdays) Walk around town with the artist! Workshop held A city walking event where you can experience the theme of “Pixels & Paints”: “Even familiar scenery can create a new story if you change your perspective.” This is an experiential workshop where you walk through the streets of Naze with the artist and capture the colors of Amami using your own sensibilities. Participants will take photos with their smartphones and use them as a “color palette” to take home with them. Date and time: November 24, 2024 (Sunday) 9:45-12:35 (doors open at 9:30) Capacity: 10 people Participation fee: 2,000 yen What to bring: Smartphone Participation conditions: Must be at least old enough to take photos by yourself (or with the assistance of a parent) *If only the child is creating the work, there will be no participation fee for the accompanying guardian.
