Sakura City, Chiba Prefecture (Mayor: Sanjugo Nishida) will be the first local government in the prefecture to hold the “Children’s Middle School Action Relay Symposium.” This symposium is a call for action by the Children and Families Agency in order to expand efforts to create a society that is friendly to children and the child-rearing generation. In Sakura City, with the main theme of “Children’s Rights”, we will invite experts and practitioners and hold a two-part event: a keynote speech and a panel discussion. At the symposium, we are also planning to broadcast a video message from the
Director-General of the Children and Families Agency and a declaration of support for Children’s Middle School Supporters.
