Representative Director, President and CEO Mr. Takaya Awata Born in October 1961 in Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture. Graduated from Hyogo Prefectural Kakogawa Higashi High School and dropped out of Kobe City University of Foreign Studies. Through his part-time work experience as a student, he developed a desire to have a job that touches people through food and beverages. In 1985, he founded the yakitori restaurant Toridoll Sanbankan in Kakogawa City, Hyogo Prefecture. Established Toridoll Corporation Limited Company in 1990. In 2000, we opened the first Marugame Seimen store in Japan. The number of fans increases year by year, and in 2011, Marugame Seimen opened its first overseas store in Waikiki, Hawaii, which became a popular store with long lines every day. Listed on TSE Mothers in 2006, listed on TSE First Section in 2008, changed company name to Toridoll Holdings Co., Ltd. in 2016. With the slogan “Fill this planet with the excitement of food,” we are currently actively operating a wide variety of brands with over 2,000 stores in 28 countries and regions around the world, aiming to become the one and only global food company from Japan.
