So far, I have been in charge of the Christmas illuminations at Roppongi Hills and the lighting design for Grand Green Osaka, and am working on projects ranging from urban landscapes to regional revitalization. For this illumination, from an eco-friendly and sustainable perspective, we created a light fixture called “Kazeho” that does not require a power source. Using natural energy, we created an installation of light and wind that is both nostalgic and new. ■About “Kazeho” lighting that does not require power supply

The height is 90cm, and the crossflow (windmill) built into the top captures even the slightest breeze at a speed of 2m and converts it into electricity, creating a moving light. The material is lightweight and flexible polycarbonate. The minimalist design eliminates waste and makes maximum use of wind power, bringing out the beauty of light. ■Relaxing space and food content
