https://recycle-carpet.jp/ Activities: Established on “Carpet Day” on November 1, 2023, with the purpose of promoting carpet recycling. Carpet tile recycling has been around for about 20 years, and to date approximately 60 million square meters (300,000 tons) of carpet tiles have been recycled by member companies of this association. Currently, approximately 5 million square meters of carpet tiles are used horizontally each year, which is approximately 20% of Japan’s carpet tile market. This initiative has been made possible through the cooperation of 1. those who use it, 2. those who collect it, 3. those who recycle it, and 4. those who make it.These four parties work together across industry boundaries. It was established as an organization to meet
