JR West Hotels Press release: November 13, 2024 [Hotel Granvia Wakayama] Would you like to become Santa Claus in children’s hearts? “Ashinaga Santa” donation box set up in hotel to support children’s homes in Wakayama Prefecture Period: November 13, 2024 (Wednesday) – December 25, 2024 (Wednesday) Hotel Granvia Wakayama, operated by Wakayama Terminal Building Co., Ltd. (Wakayama City, Wakayama Prefecture, President and CEO: Masao Takeda), will open in time for the Christmas season. From November 13th (Wednesday) to December 25th (Wednesday), 2024, donation boxes will be set up at the hotel’s two directly managed restaurants (Dining Miyu Hotels Cafe Password), the accommodation front counter, and the employee office. We will make donations to children’s homes in Wakayama Prefecture through the “Ashinaga Santa” fundraiser. This year will be the fourth time we have undertaken this initiative. “Ashinaga Santa” is a donation site run by the Japan Children’s Home Foundation, a general incorporated foundation, where you can donate the cost of giving Christmas presents to children living in children’s homes. The collected donations will be donated to four children’s homes in Wakayama Prefecture through the Japan Children’s Home Foundation.

In February of this year, Hotel Granvia Wakayama received a letter of appreciation from the Ashinaga Santa Management Office, which is run by the Japan Children’s Home Foundation.
