This initiative aims to strengthen local disaster prevention systems and support the rapid transmission of information during emergencies. Aquatech Ltd. (group, president: Kento Owada), which promoted this project, visited local governments across the country to hold presentation ceremonies, and in Tohoku, eight local governments (Yurihonjo City, Akita Prefecture, Noshiro City, Mitane City) held presentation ceremonies. The project began when Mr. Owada, the representative of Aquatech, reaffirmed the importance of satellite mobile phones when he visited the area affected by the Noto Peninsula earthquake in January 2020, and wanted to donate them to as many local governments as possible. This is an initiative. Mr. Shiotsuki, the representative of the E-BOND group, also agreed with this idea, and donations were made to 100 local governments nationwide.
