Create opportunities to talk with as many people from overseas as possible. 3. Create an opportunity from 0 to 1 that leads to a contract. 4. Visit Google headquarters. 5. Communicate with local VCs. 6. Visit legendary places in Silicon Valley. 7. Create an opportunity for a business platform with the United States. Implementation details 1. Experience the latest technology locally. Riding experience of self-driving taxi “Waymo”_1 Self-driving taxi “Waymo” ride experience_2 Impressions from riding “Waymo” When I actually rode on Waymo, I was surprised at how comfortable it was, much more than I expected. What surprised me in particular was that there was a large bulge on the road, and as I passed through it, I slowed down smoothly and got over the bulge smoothly. Furthermore, when passing through San Francisco, in areas where there is a lot of street parking, they are able to recognize people crossing the road, smoothly slow down, change lanes, and turn right, making them much safer than Uber drivers. Waymo provided a comfortable ride. I liked it so much that I would definitely buy it if I could (though I can’t). I sincerely hope that it will be introduced in Japan as soon as possible. . . 2. Create opportunities to talk with as many people from overseas as possible. A keynote speech was held to increase the number of participants to the meetup to be held on the 5th. At the request of Chairman Owada’s senior colleague from his time at Sun Microsystems, Mr. Uchida, who has been involved in Google’s AI project for 13 years, was able to give the keynote speech. Mr. Uchida Meetup keynote speech video_1 Mr. Uchida Meetup keynote speech video_2 Events will be posted on the local site “Meetup”. By
implementing detailed updates and “gimmicks” to gather participants, we achieved 70 applicants for the event and 108 group participants. Since most of the participants were local people, the meetup provided an opportunity to communicate with a variety of people. In addition, we were able to create opportunities for participants to have conversations with local people by giving them the experience of riding an Uber alone and ordering and paying at a restaurant.
