As part of JENESYS, a program to promote understanding of Japan promoted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, a total of seven young professionals from Brunei and Vietnam visited Japan and learned about Japan’s latest agricultural and farmland development technologies through farm field tours, lectures, and exchanges of opinions. Deepen your understanding. Four participants from Brunei and three from Vietnam will visit Tokyo and Mie Prefecture. In Tokyo, he visited the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries and received a lecture on the outline of farmland development in Japan, and then went to Akponi Co., Ltd. to learn about a new type of recycling-based agriculture that grows fish and plants together (without using pesticides or chemical fertilizers). , a system that uses ecological cycles to produce food more efficiently).We will see advanced technologies for sustainable agriculture. Afterwards, they plan to visit Mie Prefecture to exchange opinions with people involved in farmland development and visit an agricultural cooperative’s direct sales office.
