At manufacturing sites, the current situation is that during the manufacturing process, “B products” that cannot be released into the world as genuine products are discarded. We planned to create a system to give back to the local community using products that, although they are B products, do not have any problems when used. The first event, held in February 2023, attracted approximately 840 visitors, and the second event, held in December of the same year, attracted approximately 3,200 visitors.

From the perspective of preventing food loss, we actively use non-standard vegetables to prepare warm dishes and drinks that are perfect for the cold season. We encourage participants to bring their own chopsticks, plates, and bags (even those who don’t have their own can participate) to minimize waste. We hope that many people will be able to enjoy this festival, which is getting stronger every year.
