representative cultural facilities in each city. Kyoto｜CDB KYOTO Three things you need in life This project will be jointly managed by three brands, each with their own unique philosophy and passion. We will create a new gathering place in the historic building of the former Rissei Elementary School (founded in 1869). In the space facing the artificial turf plaza, in the morning we offer donuts made with Hokkaido ingredients from HIGUMA Donuts and carefully selected coffee from Coffee Wrights, and in the evening we offer innovative craft beer from Mikkeller. The store name is an acronym for the three essential things for life: Coffee, Donuts, and Beer. HIGUMA Donuts A donut specialty store that makes use of Hokkaido’s rich ingredients. Each product is handmade using the rich blessings of Hokkaido, which is a treasure trove of sweets ingredients, such as carefully selected wheat, milk, butter, and sugar from Hokkaido. This brand was born from the desire to rediscover the value of our hometown, Hokkaido, and to communicate it in a new way. Mikkeller Tokyo The Tokyo base of Mikkeller, an innovative craft brewery founded in Copenhagen in 2006. It embodies the spirit of founder Mikkel Bjergso’s “challenging beer brewing that is not bound by existing rules” in Japan. Coffee Wrights A specialty coffee brand operated by WAT Co., Ltd. Coffee Wrights, whose name means “coffee maker,” has been working for eight years to create new value through coffee.
