This work is a school youth ghost story in which the main character, Kanna Kusakabe, a female student, meets Akihiko Chuzenji, a Japanese language instructor who has been newly assigned to the school, and together they confront various incidents related to strange things. The original work is a prequel to Natsuhiko Kyogoku’s “Hyakki Yako Series,” which has sold over 10 million copies, and is an original spin-off manga by Aki Shimizu that depicts Kyogokudo when he was a high school teacher.
