Kakogawa City Press release: December 25, 2024 “Kako-chan Fan Art Exhibition” will be held from January 18th (Saturday). Approximately 200 submitted works will be displayed at once. ~Kako-chan fan art contest award ceremony will be held at the same time~ Kakogawa City, Hyogo Prefecture (Mayor Yasuhiro Okada) exhibited about 200 works submitted to a fan art contest of
“Kako-chan,” a character that conveys the charm of Kakogawa City, which was drawn in August last year by Noiji Ito, an illustrator from Kakogawa City and a Kakogawa Tourism Ambassador. “Kako-chan Fan Art Exhibition” will be held at Shofu Gallery from Saturday, January 18, 2020 to Sunday, February 2, 2020. In addition, the Kako-chan fan art contest award ceremony will be held from 2:00 pm on Saturday, January 18th, the first day of the fan art exhibition.

There are two categories: general category and elementary/junior high school student category, and in addition to the prize money for the grand prize winner in each category, Noiji Ito will create an illustration of Kako-chan based on the grand prize winner.
