Representative Director Tomoko Fukui “In the animation industry, voice actors and animators are two indispensable roles. If you think about it again, they have a lot in common and the problems they face are similar. It was no surprise that we wanted to work together to make the animation industry better. One of the pressing issues is the inheritance of animators’ skills. Oral transmission was commonplace, but as time passed, it became extremely difficult and was postponed until it reached the point where it was finally lost. After thinking about it, I decided to create a text for the animator skill test. It is also my “wish” to make animation known to a wide range of people and to foster animators from among them. I would like to work together with Shin Sakino, Representative Director, and our reliable staff to work towards a better future while being inspired by each other. Thank you for your continued support of the Japan Anime Film Culture Federation (NAFCA). ” NAFCA Representative Director Shunsuke Sakino “All the anime creators and us voice actors who were both close and far away However, many of the issues that came to light while involved in the management of the Japan Anime Film Culture Association (NAFCA) were the same I feel that the future of the anime industry will be the same as the chronic shortage of human resources, the unreliable inheritance of techniques, and the path taken by traditional performing arts and traditional art. Japanese anime is a growing industry that has fans all over the world and is recognized by the government. In order to bring to the world works that can be enjoyed by all generations, whether 10, 20, or even beyond that, we will work together with Representative Director Arata Fukui. I would like to work together to advance NAFCA’s activities Thank you for your continued support of the Japan Animation Film Culture Association (NAFCA).” [New advisor’s comment] NAFCA Advisor Masuro Ueda “Personal matter, Masuaki Ueda will retire from his position as representative director of the Japan Animation Film Culture
Association (NAFCA) as of December 31st of this year. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all those who have provided great cooperation in NAFCA’s activities from its launch to today.
Originally, we believed that NAFCA should be an organization represented by creators rather than producers, but we thought it would be better to start the organization with someone with experience in running an organization, so we decided to take on the representative role. I accepted. We were able to successfully complete the first animator skill test, which was one of NAFCA’s original objectives, and the creation of a textbook as a guide for the test.We believe that we have fulfilled our role, and from now on, we will continue to serve as advisors to our organization. We will continue to support you as such. With the new structure, NAFCA will continue to work toward a bright future for the anime industry, and we appreciate your continued support. I would like to change this to a brief report. ”
